THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST

ARTISTIC AND TECHNICAL Masterpiece (Masterpiece)
FAITH AND VALUES Evangelizing (Evangelizing)
RECOMMENDATION Essential (Essential)

APPROPRIATE PUBLIC: Adults
OUR OPINION: The masterpiece on the Passion of Christ. It splits the Passion of Christ and explaining it with different flashbacks of the public life of Christ. We will understand the pain and suffering that Jesus suffered for the redemption of our sins. The meaning of the Eucharist and the sacrifice of the Cross. The weight of sin and the cost of its repair. We will feel encouraged by Jesus himself to forgive and love our enemies and to embrace each one's Cross. We will understand that sacrifice and the cross are part of every Christian, because the servant is not greater than his teacher. That the will of the Father God is what we must do above all. That the greatest sacrifice one can make for his friends is to give his own life, and we will understand that Christ is and wants to be our friend and loves us all. And that we can only reach Father God for Jesus.
INCONVENIENT: Violence. Violent scenes all related to the martyrdom and sacrifice of Jesus in his Passion. It is not recommended for very sensitive people or minors. But nevertheless, it is not a gratuitous violence, but it tries to transmit what is known by the Gospels, the holy sheet, and the Christian tradition.
